- Sanitation is a key factor in ensuring the health of human populations,
many of the third world problems stem from the lack of appropriate sanitation
conditions. These problems include more than biological solutions, technology,
sociological and educational activities will be required to make needed improvements.

Developing career-oriented relationships with faculty:
- Interact with faculty who work in areas related to careers in which you have interest.
- Develop a short resume which describes your "academic history" and some information
about your career goals.
- Give this information to those from whom you are seeking advice.
